Message from the Principal

Hello Parkview Eagles! I hope this message finds you well and that all our Eagles enjoyed a summer full of rest, joy, and meaningful time with family and friends.

My name is Rudy Ramirez, and I am truly honored to serve as Principal at Parkview School. As we enter the 2025-2026 school year, I am excited to meet all of our new members of the Parkview Family and to reconnect with those of you who are continuing with us. But before we go any further, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Thank you for trusting our amazing staff with your most precious treasure, your child(ren)!
 
Our amazing and dedicated staff is ready to work closely with our Parkview students, families, and community members to ensure that the 2025–2026 school year is one filled with growth, many successes, and memorable experiences for every Eagle. Please know that as the school year unfolds, we will create many opportunities for us to come together as a school community and do whatever it takes to help our Eagles. 

As your Principal, I believe in leading Parkview School from the middle of the classroom out. What does this mean? It’s simple. I expect all of us to work together to support teaching and learning at Parkview School. The plan is to accomplish this goal by leveraging every available resource that we have at our disposal. Are you ready? This includes you, too! 

“Time, Talent, or Treasure.” Each and every one of us has something to offer our Eagles, and we look forward to seeing our collective efforts come together to support our Eagles as they SOAR into the 2025-2026 school year! And remember, Parkview School has many, many amazing things to offer our Eagles and our school community.

So let’s get ready to kick off this new school year that promises to be filled with lots of learning, amazing successes, and we’ll even squeeze in some fun. But let’s not forget that the new school year may also bring with it some challenges, and that is perfectly fine. When these challenges arise, we work together, we explore all possible solutions, but we always work as a TEAM so that each and every one of our Eagles can achieve their personal best.

  • Here are a few tips to help your child achieve their full potential:

    • Establish a consistent homework routine: Designate a quiet, well-lit space for homework and set a regular time for its completion.
    • Encourage reading: Read with your child daily, even for just 15-20 minutes. This helps develop vocabulary, comprehension, and a love of reading.
    • Limit screen time: Set reasonable limits on television, video games, and other electronic devices, especially during study time.
    • Celebrate effort and progress: Focus on your child's hard work and improvement, rather than just grades.
    • Ensure adequate sleep and nutrition: A well-rested and nourished child is better able to focus and learn.
    • Communicate with the teacher: Use ParentSquare to stay in regular contact with your child's teacher to discuss their progress, address any concerns, and collaborate on strategies to support their learning.
